Need urgent help with Runtime Error : Server Error in '/' Application
Every time I try to view this one web page
https://home.ep.microsoft.com/ I get this error message posted below on my desktop computer but my office computer that has winxp has no problems accessing the site so the site is up and running but I can't access it on my desktop. I'm using windows 98 ie 6 all new updates and cookies are on. I have tried disabling script debugging from internet options and also added this site to the trusted sites but that didn't help. Any suggestions how to fix this would be appreciated. Many Thanks Server Error in '/' Application. ----------------------------------------------------------- Runtime Error Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine. Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a customErrors tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This customErrors tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off". !-- Web.Config Configuration File -- configuration system.web customErrors mode="Off"/ /system.web /configuration Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's customErrors configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL. !-- Web.Config Configuration File -- configuration system.web customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/ /system.web /configuration |

Need urgent help with Runtime Error : Server Error in '/' Application
All the data you have posted is relevant to server administration and
doesn't really help us. I don't suppose you are using AOL when surfing using your desktop PC are you? Try adding home.ep.microsoft.com to your trusted zone. -- __________________________________________ Sandi - Microsoft MVP since 1999 http://www.ie-vista.com http://inetexplorer.mvps.org Inetexplorer has changed - for instructions on how to find old URLs, go he http://msmvps.com/spywaresucks/archi.../14/46971.aspx "Akhil" wrote in message oups.com...
