BT ASDL connection

Default BT ASDL connection

When Windows starts and I click on The icon for BT basic
connection i have "Error (87)" reported. If i remove the
USB cable from BT Voyager 105 USB ADSL modem then replace
it I can then connect ?? Does anyone have a fix please

Default BT ASDL connection

Uninstall the modem software disconnect the modem reboot, install modem
software reboot then connect the modem to the system it will install the
modem it's self. BT modems are awkward *******s.

Hello James,

Have you tr_ied "rebooting" the modem_ by unplugging the
power cable going into the back of the ADSL modem, waiting
a few seconds and then replugging_ it?

It sounds like you need to update the modem drivers. Check to see what you
can find.

Yes I tried this but still doesn't see the modem, Have
tried 2 different USB cables and all4 USB ports. My
scanner,printer and camera all work ok. Have tried every
combination, it's frustrating. Thanks for trying.
