IEXPLORE caused general protection fault
I have scandisked, defragged, etc. etc. to no avail. I
have disabled Norton, also. This happened after I downloaded all critical updates and Windows 98 updates except the "NET" for software and the multiple languages offered. Experiencing these 2 problems: 1. This one causes IE to shutdown - *very* frustrating: "IEXPLORE caused a general protection fault in module USER.EXE at 001e:00001473. User.exe errors:
http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/answers_10.htm#user.exe The second problem may be related to Sun Java. Have you tried their technical support? -- _______________________________________ Sandi - Microsoft MVP since 1999 (IE/OE) http://inetexplorer.mvps.org "Terry" wrote in message ...
