Default Windows & Internet explorer XFRGRMNP.DLL ERROR

Many times per day I get the error (Explorer has caused an error in XFRGRMNP.DLL. Explorer will now close...try restart....)
The error happens mostly while browsing internet or local drive, but sometimes just after startup (I guess while initializing the satus bar). As soon as I get this message notebook freezes, even Ctrl+Alt+Del does not work to activate the task manager. I have to remove battery+power and restart.

I tried to search for a similar error on this file on internet but faild to find one. Anyone can help?
Thanks a lot.

Win Me contains no file and since this problem happens when you are using
Explorer this is suspicious and usually an indication of being host to
unwanted malware.

Boot to Safe Mode. Delete the entire contents of your C:\Windows\Temp folder
and also clear your Temporary Internet Files.

Check your system using your preferred antivirus application making sure first
that you are using an updated current set of viral reference signatures.

This would be a good time to download yourself a copy of the free Ad-Aware 6.0
from Lavasoft (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) and also SpyBot
Search & Destroy (http://www.safer-networking.org/) and use them to check your
system for other commercial parasites remembering that they are only as good
as when you last updated their reference files. I also use a program called
BHODemon (http://www.definitivesolutions.com/bhodemon.htm that checks for
unwanted Browser Help Objects and SpywareBlaster
(http://www.wilderssecurity.net/spywareblaster.html) which can help prevent
some parasites getting a grip on your PC.

Then there is CWShredder
(http://www.zerosrealm.com/downloads/CWShredder.zip or
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/cwshredder.zip) which is the best way
of getting rid of the many forms of the CoolWebSearch hijacker details of
which can be found at http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/cwschronicles.html
and also http://www.pestpatrol.com/pestinfo/c/cws.asp..

Finally if you still continue to experience problems download a copy of
HijackThis from (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html). Create a
folder called hijackthis on C: and copy the file you downloaded to that
folder. Close as many applications as you can including all instances of
Internet Explorer and then run hijackthis.exe and post back the log, provided
that it isn't too long, to this thread, otherwise to the HijackThis Forum at
http://www.spywareinfo.com/forums/ and hopefully this will enable someone to
identify the cause of your problem.

Thanks Mike,

I did follow the recommended steps and downloaded all the programs (from another workstation, cause I could not open any explorer, luckily yesterday I made my root folder sharable with full permission). I ran the programs from start\run button and scanned the PC, I found a lot of junk, I cleared them all. But it is important to mention that as I was looking at the files to be deleted, I found the file causing me the problem in the list provided by BHODemon software only, I disable it and now I can open windows and Internet explorer without any problem.

Thanks again for your support.

Thanks for the feedback. After disabling the file using BHODemon did you then
look for the file and delete it? If not may I suggest you do. May I also
suggest you keep a close watch on your system over the next couple of days as
some of these pests have a way of seemingly resurrecting themselves "from the
dead" and even worse reappear using a file with an entirely different name.

Regards,
