Media Player 9 problem
Using Win98SE. Media Player 9 used to work fine, but after restoring the
Win98SE system, it doesn't work on streaming audio. I've follwed the direction for the error code to no avail. MP will play CDs, mp3, wav, midi, and others. It will not play wma format. The error message says "Class is not registered." Any pointers? -- "Pessimism is, in brief, playing the sure game. You cannot lose at it." Thomas Hardy |

When I ran into a series of lost system dll files, I restored using the H-P disk. I have done a couple of uninstall-reinstall sequences of MP9. |
