Default keep running scripts??and 10 other problems

i have been seeing this message"do you want to continue
runnings scripts on this page?"...this has never happened
before. also the encoding is always on unicode all by
itself, i change it to western european, with every page.
i went to advanced tab in internet options.now i have the
fist option of browsing and security empty, as in nothing
next to the box, but a box there to be checked or not.
i think i may have a program on my pc that's allowing,
porn ro pop up everytime i click a link or option on any
of my sites i normally go to.then pc freezes.
what can i do?
