WIN98SE SE SE SE SE sheeeesh
I've lurked this group for a very short while, and tonight I had a look
around for 30mins. I notice one thing that is as common as humans on the outside of this rock that floats in space, and it is the sheer amount of posters asking how to upgrade 98 to 98se. Is there some sort of diamond at the end of the rainbow once one updates? The info given by the "rons" and other gurus is always to put your hand in your back pocket or go to an auction site and etc etc etc. Why is this SE so special that you have to BE special in order to get a look in? What are these features that turn it into the OS of the future that everyone is looking for? Maybe the Group should be renamed: "pointer" as the most answers here point 98 se upgrade wannabes to the above. Anyhow, I'd still like to know exactly what one gets when upgrading 98 to 98se, so if any would like to answer it may save a lot of 'pointing', if you get my point. jeff |
