Restore Previous Folder Windows at logon
Is there a way to disable "Restore Previous Folder Windows at logon" in
Windows 98? I looked in Explorer, Tools, Folder Options, under View tab, but I don't see a way to turn it off. Could I turn it off in the registry? |

Questioned often: 2.2.1.7.1 GlobalFolderOptions element http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...(PROT.13).aspx Generally: Using a registry editor, locate the following key: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Exp lorer\Advanced Locate or if necessary Create a REG_DWORD value called PersistBrowsers in the right hand pane. Modify to 1 to turn on, 0 {zero} to turn off. Close editor, restart computer. Yes? Save/backup registry.
