Default Aidia results

sorry about the other posts although they look like spam
they are not intended to be. My problem was the one with
the display where it would freeze everytime i tried to
change the settings. You asked me to use Aidia and post
the results so i could download the correct driver. So
here are my results

Please post the brand and model number of the computer. Is it a laptop?

yes it is a laptop. From what it says on it its a NEC
VERSA LXi. is this it?

Here are the video drivers you need from the NEC website:

LXi-S3-9x.exe

You can download them he

ftp://ftp.necsam.com/pub/Catalog/3621/LXi-S3-9x.exe

Create a folder on your desktop called Video Drivers.

Download the video drivers to it. Right click and extract the files to the
*same folder*, or extract it using one of the free zip utilities from the PC
World Magazine website:

http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/fil...id,6531,00.asp

Click the Setup icon that looks like a computer to install the drivers.
Make sure you *temporarily* disable your anti-virus software since it can
interfere with the installation of the video drivers.

Reboot your PC.

I downloaded and installed the driver and it says that
drivers on my system now, but i still have the same
problem. When i click on settings in display the cursor
changes to the hourglass and it freezes. What else can i
do?

Clean out your Temp and Temporary Internet folders as a starting point. If
you're not sure how to do that, please post back.
