Print Troubleshooter disappears
When trying to use the print troubleshooter in Win 98 SE I
can't get beyond the first menu. When I check the fault list and then click on the 'Next' button, all I get is a blank. Printer problem finally solved by un-installing printer then re-installing printer and driver and turning printer off to clear memory. However troubleshooter still won't go beyond first menu Thanks in anticipation, Jack S |

Print Troubleshooter disappears
Did the troubleshooter ever work? If so, what changed? Was anything added
or removed - hardware or software? This article is very helpful in troubleshooting printer problems without using the wizard: HOW TO: Troubleshoot Printing Problems in Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows Millennium Edition http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=128345 You did not mention whether or not you were on a network but disappearing printer problem is generally associated with a network or running certain utilities in the background. Print Troubleshooter disappears
I'm having exactly the same problem w/ the Print
Troubleshooter as Jack S. Sounds like he got his printer working and was able to forget the Troubleshooter. Any ideas on why there's only a blank page after hitting the "next" button or how to correct this? Thanks, Sharon -----Original Message----- Did the troubleshooter ever work? If so, what changed?
