need help installing a serial mouse

I remembered back in the dos days that your serial mouse works in the
bios so I think it is not true. The drivers does not have to be
recogized in order to use the serial mouse. I know that the serial
mouse is very hard to find. I found this company on the internet that
is still selling the serial port mouse. If you are looking for one
this is where I bought my serial mouse.

however I did locate the USB connection on the mother board
and I just happen to have a two port usb card, I plugged
it in, and used my optical usb mouse, VOILA it works..
now I need to get with him and discuss his buying a USB
mouse. I think I'm give him my copies of ME since I don't
use them any more..
