Default Hand fell off the clock in Windows 98

I just opened the clock in the taskbar in Windows98se. The second
hand on the analog clock fell off and is laying on the bottom of my
screen. How do I fix that?

You will probably need one of those gamers' joysticks, or better, some 3D
hardware tool used for more exotic CAD/CAM software control. See, even if the
hand appears to be aligned flat toward you as usual, that's just because it's
slipped between the taskbar phosphors and the screen glass. This is a VERY
tiny space as no doubt you are aware, so you're going to need a
micromanipulator there, perhaps even laser tweezers might be useful. Once
(IF) you manage to get a grip on this thing, you'll still need a 3D tool
because you have to move the hand in the Z axis. There's a tiny spindle
sticking out toward you from the centre of that clock. I know you can't see
it because it's all aligned perfectly flat toward you, but trust me, it's
there... When you have located it, ideally by a delicate touch as you'll feel
more than you'll see, you'll need to rotate it very slightly under gentle
pressure till you're sure it has engaged, then maybe tap it coaxially fery
lightly with the back of a fingernail. Do not rely on main force alone, as
massless analog clock mecahisms are expecially delicate. Again, your direct
experince has shown you the truth of this.

jw, you owe the Oracle a new Micro$eth Thomas with functioning
second-hand.

Oh I don't know, I think the oracle will settle for an Omega.
