Only above half of text visible?
Hi,
A friend created a new website from our bridgeclub. Very strangs that on some pages the letters are only seen by half. Copying and pasting the sentence e.g. on a Word-doc they are fully seen. Other collegues see the text as normal. I am using IE6 and have never seen that problem on any onther web site. Somebody any idea? Thanks Huib |

Just a swag on my part, but, maybe the screen resolution that you are
using?? If you want, post the link and I'll see how it appears on my machine. Heirloom, old and of little help "Huib" wrote in message . .. Hi, A friend created a new website from our bridgeclub. Hallo Heirloom,
Thanks for the interest. The related website is: http://users.skynet.be/herman2610/home.html I changed already the screen resolution with no help. Sorry but the site is in dutch. On the home page : "Wekelijkse Bridgesessie : Dinsdag" Only the tophalf of the letters is seen on my sreen Performing a print results in the complete text: Wekelijkse Bridgesessie : Dinsdag 14.00h Also on "Medelingen" is the text not complete PS: i never saw it on other sites and my friends (no ME-users anymore see i perfect?) Thanks Huib "Heirloom" schreef in bericht ... Just a swag on my part, but, maybe the screen resolution that you are using?? If you want, post the link and I'll see how it appears on my machine. Hi Heirloom,
I was changing the screen resolution without any result. But changing size of the screen letters from 120dpi tot 101dpi solved the problem. No problems here either when viewing that page. If it isn't a screen
resolution problem then try updating your video drivers. OK here with 1024x768. Even at 640x480 all of the letters are visible. -- Mike Maltby Huib wrote: Hallo Heirloom, Thanks for the interest. Good to hear, I like it when I stumble on an acorn. From there I was
thinking that it may be the way your machine was interpreting HTML.....wouldn't have a clue on that. In any case, thanks for letting us know. I am curious what you mean by half the letters. Is the page spilling off the
screen or are individual letters being chopped? Are you using a LCD or CRT display? I, for about the last month, have been seeing random pages that spill off the screen and no scroll bar. Resizing has not helped although I had not tried the DP change. Hard to fix it since it is very random and reboot sometimes fixes. Can't say it is drivers unless there has been some code change to IE that the GUI is not handling well. And I am using CRT. Norman "Heirloom" wrote in message ...
