Default Msqsrv32

What is Msqsrv32 and why is it "not responding" after
disconnecting my Canon A75 digital camera?
Canon states that it is a Windows problem, but I've yet to
find anything on the Microsoft site that tackles Msqsrv32.
Sure, lots of links to Msgsrv32 and a Google search will
find lots of kind folks w/a tendency to either correct the
spelling, replacing the "Q" w/a "G" or just ignoring and
proving ideas/solutions to Msgsrv32 problems. Not sure why
this is so I'm stumped?
I've done everything to my Win98SE system that I could.
I've reinstalled latest drivers, dlls, .exes, cleaned all
offending programs, disabled ACPI, floppy driver, removed
spyware, etc. and did a systematic removal of devices and
startup installs. Nothing has worked. I've rarely ever had
a virus/trojan even get close to my system and when they
have I've eradicated the problem before it has done
damaged so if it is something of this nature it must be
quite sophisticated.
In all my years of computing, this is the first problem
that I've not been able to resolve or find info from
anyone else.
Is the Canon software buggy, not notifying when the USB
device closes? Is it a problem w/Stimon.exe, an invalid
thread? A Windows problem in logging the camera?
Even if a fix is not easy to come by, surely there's
someone out there who can at least identify just what
Msqsrv32 is? Knowing that should help as I attempt to
track the problem down.
And....yes.....I've already tried the solutions for
Msgsrv32 and none have worked. Again, my initial problem
is w/Msqsrv32.

Appreciate any help anyone can give regarding "Msqsrv32,"
(not Msgsrv32).

Scott
