HD with 98 crashed. Have new HD with 98 SE. No discs on hand. Games not
listed in StartPrograms Accessoriesetc. Nothing found in
FindFiles/folders for 'Games' or 'Solitaire'. Find 'sol' shows something
about solitaire in MS DOS. Is the usual Widows 'Games' available at ms.com?
Searched there but found only KBs and assorted 'error' articles. Clear off
the desk and get out a real deck of cards?
Any ideas? Thanks. Keith

Did you try installing them from the Windows Setup tab on Add/Remove
Programs in the control panel?

Thanks. Just tried ControlPanelAdd/Remove ProgramsWindows SetUp
TabAccessories detailschecked 'Games' box. 'OK' or 'Apply' prompts for
98 SE disc. No gots. Gots my eye on a newer machine though. Numerous other
issues with new installation is wearing me down. Glad I printed, kept, and
filed bunches of posts and replies but other new posts may follow.

Do you have the Windows setup files (.cab) on the hard drive?
Many machines have the .cab files stored in a location such as:
C:\Windows\Options\Cabs, or C:\Windows\Options\Install

If so, you can point setup to that location when it prompts for the Windows CD.

Surprise, surprise. 'Games' update was listed and installed. My deal. Jacks
