Recycle Bin
Hi I was wondering if someone could help me out.
Whenever I delete something from my C: drive (Main Windows drive) the deleted files ends up in the recycle bin. However whenever I delete files from my D: drive the deleted file does not end up in the recycle bin. I still get the standard warning dialog box about how the deleted file will end up in the recycle bin but it never ends up there. Is there anyway to sort this out? It didn't used to be like this. Are my files permanently deleted? Thanks in advance for any help. |

A physical hard disk inside of my PC. I've got a 13 GB split into 3GB and
10GB. All the Windows stuff is on the C: drive the 3 GB and other stuff is on the D: 10 GB drive. Right click the Recycle Bin, select Properties, and see if you have "Configure
drives independently" selected. If yes -- select the tab with D: drive, and see if "Don't move files to the Recycle Bin" checkbox is marked. -- Mikhail Zhilin MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) http://www.aha.ru/~mwz Sorry, no technical support by e-mail.
