Default DVD Drive deos not recognise DVD's

I have a Samsung DVD ROM and for some reason when I insert a DVD it does not
play. Even if I go to My Computer and click on D: it tells me that there is
no disk in drive.

Any suggestions?

Cheers,

Canna

Canna,

Does the drive recognise CDs - both audio and data?
