Default Can't access USB hard drive

I've been using a USB 2.0 Pocketec hard drive on my computer for 1 year with
no problems. The last time I used it was yesterday and today when I started
the computer, it wasn't in the My Computer folder. I checked the Device
Manager and it says the device is working properly. I went to BIOS and it
wasn't there. What should I do? Thanks for your help.

A USB hard drive won't show up in BIOS. Have you tried removing it from Device
Manager and restarting to reinstall?
