Upgrading Win ME to win 2000 (SP4) or XP?
That's mighty interesting, Shane. Thanks. Harry. "Shane" wrote in message ... "Heather" wrote in message ... It is simple, Harry. In Outlook Express, click on Message at the top, then with Sooge's post open, click on Block Sender. It will then ask you if you want to remove all of his posts, so click YES. After that you will never see another post from him. Unless he gives a fake address. Here's a few recent ones: ' ' ' ' ' Make sure it is HIS post that you have open, or you will block someone else. It is a wonderful asset!! Sooooge has been in mine for a while. He is just a troublemaker. I happened upon one of his posts in alt.hackers.malicious (aka a bunch of subhuman idiots) wherein he said he had been lying for years.....perhaps I will post a link to it. Claims to be SEing everyone everywhere else. Doesn't appear to appreciate that it's only Engineering when it has a purpose (and a valid one at that!). When it's just for supposed self-aggrandisement, SE is simply the inadequate's way of saying 'lying'. And the only ones who believe them - apart from the rubes, that is (like those who fall for butthead's scams) - appear to be the socially-inept ('I'll believe your bs if you believe mine!'). There is an area where they might have gotten credit, but they go for the easy target thus demonstrate that they don't really want to stop it, so much as to strut about blowing their own trumpets. If they were double-jointed, it wouldn't be their trumpets they'd be blowing. What do they call it? Munchausen's Syndrome? Shane Cheers.....Heather "webster72n" wrote in message ... He is of an extremely argumentative nature, Mike and actuually thinks of himself as having a brain, which he is trying to flaunt here. Well, this is the end of his story for me. Will have to find out about *kill file* to implement it myself. Harry. "Mike M" wrote in message ... No problem Harry. I haven't a clue what the troll said to you (and don't want to know) as "it" has long since been in my kill file. I only ever get to read the trash it writes when I read another poster's post that happens to include part of the troll's post. -- Mike Maltby webster72n wrote: Thank you, Mike. Haven't read it that closely Harry, but I'm guessing by 'self-control' Alias
simply means that it's better to just not look, if you wish no further involvement. Personally, I'd hit 'Create Rule From Message', the option immediately above 'Block Sender', and set posts by whoever marked as read. That way - in case you need to see what's been said since - they're readily available without having to, say, first delete the rule and reset the newsgroup, or to wait for Google to archive them. Of course, it probably depends on quite how hyper one is, whether one wants the option of jumping back into the fray! Shane "webster72n" wrote in message ... Sure sounds simple enough, Heather. Thank you. I'll give it a *plonk*. What I found googling, was a tad more complicated, designed for other ng's, I think. With all his self control, why then did Alias engage so much? I'm curious, again. Harry. "Heather" wrote in message ... It is simple, Harry. In Outlook Express, click on Message at the top, then with Sooge's post open, click on Block Sender. Sooo, if your shadow is kicking your ass on every newsgroup, just realize that you are in charge of your own shadow, no one else is, and your shadow most certainly isn't. If you want to change your shadow you have to -- gasp! -- change yourself. LOL!! He does that all the time.....from the *possessor of dark talents* to *born-again G*d Squad proselytizer*.....he is constantly changing and I know every cotton-pickin' one of his personas and whining complaints. From a certain unnamed person picking on his fat wife to people not appreciating his (cough) massive intellect!! (damn near choked typing that one, lol). See Shane's post for what I was referring to......his *social engineering*. His term for LYING!! What a dolt!! Feliz Navidad, amigo....Heather Tu tambien. Alias |

Shane: I understand the meaning of self control. My question was, why he doesn't exercise it himself , because he is keeping the conversation going (just out of curiosity). But he already gave me his answer and now I (we) know. Time to move on. Harry. "Shane" wrote in message ... Just remember that those pictures of me were STOLEN illegally from my web
page; but of course you would not let such a little thing as their being stolen from a page the plainly and expressly FORBADE copying of any images from it would you!! "Heather" wrote in message ...
