Default Cannot access read-only documents in Office Excel 2000.

CAN ANYONE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not having any luck solving my problem in the Excel General Discussion
Group. The problem is located in Excel General Questions, posted as Cannot
access read-only documents, and the 11th posting is dated 02-07-05. If
anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Tom,

I suspect that few here are going to subscribe to the Excel newsgroup just
to read your query. If you want someone reading this newsgroup to try and
help then you need to post your query here not refer them elsewhere.

I have no personal experience with this problem, Tom, but a Google search
for "access read-only document in Excell" yields many hits for your problem,
eg.,
