Default MSCOREE.DLL can not be found

How and what do I reinstall so that I have this missing
file put back on my computer? My Norton's System Works
says that I am missing the file named MSCOREE.DLL and I am
unable to run certain applications until I fix this.
Thanks for any help you may have.

Norton Disk Doctor is wrong. You do not need this file.
Please go to the Norton Website and search on the file
name or DotNet Installer and find out why Norton Disk
Doctor gets this warning so wrong and what to do about it.

What are the applications that you cannot run, and what
is the essage that you are getting from these
applications when you try to run them?
