Thank you Eric for your timely response. The concern I
have with the error message that each time she gets the
message it also freezes up her machine and she has to
cold shut it down. Do you think by disabling this
notification that it will also stop her machine from
freezing up? I will have her follow your directions and
thanks again for your help - it is greatly appreciated.

You can usually bypass those scrip error messages by

just
clicking on the OK button.

If you don't want the message to show, open Internet
Options in the Start = Settings = Control Panel, open
the Advanced tab, and disable the setting

called, "Display
a notification about every script error".

The error is with Yahoo's site, not with your computer,
and its usually not a serious error, that's why you can
switch the error notification off.

I have previously posted this under windows 98 Browser -

but did not receive a response - so I am posting here

in
hopes of getting some help. So I apologize for the
double posting. My neice is running windows 98 with IE

6
and after uninstalling McAfee Anti Virus she has

started
receiving the following error message when trying to

use
Yahoo instant message.

Internet Explorer Script Error
LINE: 233
CHAR: 13
ERROR: Unknown Run Time Error
CODE: 0
URL: file://c:/windows/temp/TMPF040.TMP

Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated -
Thank you.
