Determine the modem and sound card type and install the drivers for those
devices. Check the disks that came with your HP--the device drivers should
be on one of them

Got display fixed, now it won't see my modem (only searches COM1) nor my

can hear, but nothing through speakers of any thing, CD, sounds from
Apps., etc., power on and connected properly. No little speaker in Task
