I got to bed relatively early last night for the 2nd time in a few days and,
indeed, the 2nd time in weeks. I have bouts of insomnia, Joan, which I've
usually attributed to the time of year, but maybe this one was a reaction to
not smoking (haven't smoked in about 7 weeks now). I'm hoping to get back to
civilised hours now. For one I'd hate to be in bed still and missing this
ethereal autumn light.
