What is the resolution currently set at? In Device Manager, what is the
name of the driver for the video display adapter?

Firstly, try reducing the number of colours before changing the resolution.

If that doesn't work, try removing and then re-installing the video display
adapter driver. Make sure the driver you select to re-installing is an exact
match for the display adapter card in the system..
