Hi Group(s),

I'd like help with the following problem. I always get a message to the
effect that there was an error in downloading the URL when I try to
"synchronise" the favourites whose pages I want to be able to read offline,
and the synchronisation fails.

This never used to happen before, using IE 5 for example, but I cannot say
at what point it stopped working.

My operating system is Win 98 SE and the browser is currently IE 6 with SP1.
I have tried deleting all the temporary internet files, suspending use of
the firewall (Zone Alarm), suspending use of the anti-virus (AVG), making
sure the security settings are at a minimum and that the space allowed for
the browser cache is at a maximum, and repairing and re-installing IE6, all
without avail as regards this problem.
