This probably means the drivers don't work at all. I

the only driver that actually works is the Super VGA one

because it actually displays info about the video card

drivers of which none I can get past 16 colors or they
just don't work at all.

Windows 95B/OSR2x driver. One of
the more generic Toshiba drivers may also work.
