Default BTBroagband and WinMe

AAH,

Thanks, now we are getting somewhere.

Everything there suggests you have a working connection between your Home
Hub and Win Me. The Home Hub, or gateway is showing as being at
192.168.1.254 which is correct for a Home Hub, likewise the DHCP server and
that the DHCP server has allocated the Win Me box an IP address of
192.168.1.65. If you weren't connected you would have either seen no IP
address allocated or possibly an address in the 169.254.xxx.xxx range and no
entry for Gateway, DHCP or DNS server.

Now that we've established that your Win Me PC is connected to the Home Hub
we can try a few tests.

Firstly, from a DOS prompt what do you see if you enter at the DOS prompt:

PING 192.168.1.254

PING 216.239.59.105

PING www.google.com

Then open your browser and enter the following in the address bar and click
return:

http://192.168.1.254

http://216.239.59.105

http://www.google.com

Hopefully we might get a clue to the problem when we know what happens when
you try the tests I've listed above.

Best of luck,

Mike M
