I have posted some questions before and received information (from Gary
Terhune) and I have tried everything he suggested about removing the program.
Nothing works, the icon and program are still on the computer and it won't
let me uninstall or delete it. What can I do now? I am at my wits end and I
just want to get rid of Norton Anti-Virus 2005, get my money back, etc. Would
appreciate any suggestions. Thank you!

Here is a "last resort" procedure that might work:

1. Use Windows Explorer to locate and delete all of the folders
relating to NAV 2005 and their contents. On Windows 98 you should
look in the \Windows and \Program Files folders subfolders with Norton
or Symantec in their names.

2. Get a Registry Cleaner (I use RegSeeker (free) from
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/regseeker.html) and run it to remove
obsolete and invalid items from the registry, which will now include
references to the deleted Symantec files. If you use RegSeeker you
will probably have to run it 2 or 3 times in succession in order to
clean up everything.

Good luck
