the conclusion that a lot of people objected, and very strongly, to the U3
software. In fact, the U3 website now furnishes, albeit begrudgingly, a
link (www.u3.com/uninstall) for deleting the software. (I say
"begrudgingly" because the topmost caveat on the page says something like:
"WAIT, are you sure you want to remove this helpful, etc., etc..." and
doesn't provide the uninstall option until the very bottom. And I think

goes on to say that the feature cannot be reinstalled after removal.)

I appreciate greatly your comments that I can safely use this flash drive
on
my Millennium machine.
