Default Reverting to earlier version of Windows

Thanks for your reply. I'm doing the upgrade essentially for USB support. I
have never been able to install a USB driver in Win 98 SE from the flash
drive-included CD successfully.

I know that I'm very late in replying. I've gone days without being able to
access this forum.

Using Add/Remove Programs.
It's far better, though, to use a proper Image of the drive, if you have the
software and hardware available - the A/R programs relies on the upgrade
being reasonably sane in the first place.

There's not really much point in doing such an upgrade from 98SE to ME - is
this 98FE?? - are you doing it for USB support?
