two possibilities....
1) It's possible that your motherboard doesn't support
drives of that size -
in which case you may have to install Drive Overlay
software - consult your
motherboard manual for details of its capabilities, and
the HD
manufacturer's website for the software
2) you didn't answer 'Y' to the question Enable support
for Large disk
drives' in FDISK - this would result in the drive being
partitioned to 2GB

I thought I answered "yes" BUT, the 2gig is the magic #!
Is my tac to fdisk again? Also, how do I access the news
article above? I refed. the "I'm not stuck" thing to
indicate urgency. This computer thing is really
