Can't Logon to Windows 2000 Domain
Thanks Harish,
I've already tried this. I've done some research and
it looks like the SAM in our Active Directory is corrupt
causing our windows 98 clients to not log on.
Thanks anyway

Hi,
Check if you have NetBIOS is installed and running.
You need to make sure the Windows 98 clients are using a
NetBIOS name and
not the Fully Qualified Domain Name.
Unfortunately, Windows 98 does not understand this fully
qualified name so
we had to simply use the NetBIOS name.
Try the following procedure
1. Go to Network properties
2. Under the Identification tab check the workgroup name
should match with
NetBIOS name.
3. Also change the domain name to a NETBIOS name under
the Client for
Microsoft
Network tab.
Once it is done you should be able to logon to the domain
and also
successfully resolve the name of the server to the IP
address.
I am happy to help you. Do let me know your progress on
this issue.
