Along the same lines but a different direction. If the above does not work
then you can try to remove remove the device from the port and remove all
the drivers associated with it from the device manager. Then use the CD that
came with your hardware and insert it. It should (I've a similar device I
was playing with just this morning) auto-run and install. I ended up having
to do this without the device in place and then selecting the device from
the manufacturer's CD as it had multiple products on it. After that I
plugged the device in and it worked like a champ. Might help or be another
solution if Mike's doesn't do the trick for you.
