PnP/PCI CONFIGURATION:
PnP OS Installed

If I understand you correctly, you're saying that "PnP OS Installed" is
disabled? If so, that's what Brian was talking about. You want to enable
that item.

I didn't find PlugnPlay feature in the BIOS. Here are some things that
I found disabled and didn't know what they are used for:

SMART for Hard Disks

CHÍPSET FEATURES:
Top Performance
some USB stuff
AGP Fast Write

PnP/PCI CONFIGURATION:
PnP OS Installed
Reset Configuration Data

INTEGRATED PERIPHERALS:
Enhance ATAPI Performance
MPU-401

I thought you could know if any of these disabled options have to do
something with the porblem.

Actually, when my brother installed Win98, it was working fine, and
then he installed WinXP and he didn't try the '98 again. And so he
blamed me that I have messed it up while installing drivers, but he
wasn't there to see that even the mouse was not working when I first
started it . So I suppose that the dual boot is the problem.
