OK, here's the results, such as they are. According to my best research
efforts, there is no support for One Touch III or One Touch 4 in Win98. Both
Win98 original and Win98SE support One Touch and One Touch II. I have
drivers for both devices 9they're the same for Win98 and Win98SE), the ones
for the One Touch II also work for the original One Touch, but not vice
versa. Note that while both devices are USB2 capable, they work just fine on
USB1.1, which is almost always the case, and you'll always see a minimum
requirement for Win98SE to support the USB2, for often for no other
reason--Win98FE will still work on the following, for instance,
http://www.directron.com/ecsstu35.html, just very slowly.

My apologies, my remembrance of things Win98 are sketchy these days. So, you
can look on EBay for an original One Touch or a One Touch II, or possibly a
different brand, or like I said, get an enclosure that you know will work
with everything and then put any old HD into it. There are tons of them out
there.

Your last post didn't appear until well into the 27th. As the previous
posts appeared negative, I took the drive back and got a promise from the
person who gave it to me to order one that would work. What drive would
you recomend to be used for sharing with a Win98SE desktop and a Win98FE
laptop set of computers? By sharing, I mean keeping it connected to the
desktop, but occasionally hooking it up to the laptop since I don't own a
wifi hookup and hooking it up to the ethernet is a PITA.

Please list brand and the highest capacity that can be easily accomidated.
ALso I need reliable drivers.
