Maybe this won't help you for what you want to do with the player, but
the best player I found is Realplayer. I can arrange music from the internet.
Download from the cd player. I also use it to burn cd's and upload to mp3
player. All this for free. If this helps good. If you need help to set this

I have installed a chip set that Dell said may work. Installed the chip
set, but it didn't solve this problem. I have installed the Rio s10 software
and the latest driver for this unit and Win98se.
I'd really like some help with this.
