I want to ask one more thing - can I install Windows Me on a new PC?

You can, but why would you want to do that?

Zee

Because I don't like XP (I never got to like it) and I can't afford buying
a new PC with Vista now. I am deciding of installing either Windows 98,
98SE, Me or 2000. Windows 98 and 98SE seem too obsolee for me, Me and 2000
are the way to go!

IMHO Win98SE is far better than ME, and I am not an anti-ME person.

This may be useful for you:

WHICH WINDOWS DO I CHOOSE?

And WinXP can be configured to be very similar, from the point of view of
the user, to the old Win9x looks, just use the Classic menus.

Be aware that modern hardware may not have drivers and support for these
older versions of Windows.

Anyway, select whatever you like and best of luck,

Zee
