Default negative numbers in virtual memory tab

It is only superficial. It shouldn't affect your computer at all.
Do a Find in this NG for resources and you will find some good solutions.
Also do a virus scan and adware scan.
To see aproximately how much you have running, do a ctrl-alt-del and the End
Task Box will display most running programs.

alright anybody know where to find the hot fix from
microsoft i have the problem outlined in KB article 272620
and says i need the hotfix it also says a work around is
to be the number are interpreted right by windows and
thats also incorrect it says i have -832mb of page file
size i open yahoo messenger and internet explorer and my
resources drop way down to 3% and i'm betting the virtual
memory is the cause

another thing is why do we all have to pay 35$ for a
