Ken,

SUGGESTIONS ???

Suitable products include AVG and eTrust (Computer

Associates):
a) AVG (Free version) from GriSoft
(http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_dwnl_free.php)
b) eTrust from Computer Associates. This is an excellent

low cost AV program
that I and many others contributing to these NGs are

using. eTrust and
EZArmorLE are FREE to new users for one year until Jan

2005 (see
http://www.my-etrust.com/microsoft/index.cfm) Just the

AV application can be
installed if preferred. EZArmorLE is a rebadged version

of the free Zone
Alarm but does include a fifteen day trial of the paid

for eTrust badged Zone
Alarm Pro.

Other possibilites include Trend Micro, Panda, Kaspersky

(pricey but
excellent) and F-Prot.

That's what I'm slowly figuring out (((

I used NAV2002 for 2 1/2 years and was happy with it.

Then I decided I should have a firewall - so I purchased
NIS2004. It worked GREAT for 2 weeks then quit. After 2
weeks of pure "HELL" - Symantek told me it wouldn't work
on my system and recommended getting NAV2004

After 3 more weeks of HELL (Probably more caused by the
Wtoolsa "bug") I still don't have an AV program.

I also Dont have a Firewall, of GOOD popup blocker.

SUGGESTIONS ???
