DD, you say your PC is a laptop - with PCMCIA?

4 port USB 2.0 - PCMCIA card - e.g. UK outlet :-

Cheap (GBP 9.27 or about $5) and simple solution. Comes with drivers
(98/2000/ME/XP) Works at full USB 2.0 speeds.

Then add a USB WiFi stick e.g :-

and you're back in the 21st Century.

I'm sure you can find US equivalents. My old Toshiba Tecra 8000
(circa 1997/8) with inbuilt single USB 1.1 port, designed for Win98
but now with WinMe installed, works a treat with the extra 4 USB 2.0
ports at USB 2.0 speeds

Hope that also answers Shane's point elsewhere on the thread.
