I thought you had said "only to find that I had no access to the CD!" It now
seems that you have access to the CD from XP.

Copy the contents of the CD to the hard drive using XP. Reboot to Windows
(or DOS) and reinstall the drivers you need from the hard drive copy of the
CD.
