I think you said it quite clearly, Gary. I can use your statement, with
minor modification, to send to HP and ask them how I can get the
required drivers. It may be a dead end, but there's still a feasible
workaround: I can re-install 98 from scratch, and it will (I hope)
install with the proper drivers for this PC.
