I am trying to hook up a new Palm Pilot to my PC. When I try to Hotsync the
PDA, the system recognizes the new hardware and freezes during the install.
A tech friend told me to install a PCI to USB card. Her idea being that the
motherboard was being drained of power (older computer) and the new card
would take care of that.

I installed the card and the computer still freezes during the install.
Could it be a problem with the installer part of the OS? The drivers
wouldn't even install.

Any Ideas?
