Default What utility should one

You should ask whoever created your DOS utility why it doesn't 'see' the
thumb drive. You haven't mentioned what this utility is, so it's a little
difficult to give advice about what might be wrong with it.

Just like a partition, a thumb drive could be active or not. I have a DOS
utility that could set a partition active or the reverse but the utility
