If you are fully updated right clicking tshoot.inf and choosing install =
will not work to restore the troubleshoot wizard. I'm now beginning to =
think another update is a 3rd cause once again for the loss of the =
tshooter, even killing Georges. I just checked one of my 98SE machines =
which has Georges Tshoot and it does not work as before. Time for a =
little troubleshooting myself to see if I can backtrack and find the =
cause.
IMHO, this looks to be the work of MS pushing XP. If the tshooters are =
gone on 98 systems perhaps then the end user will upgrade to XP and if =
that was to be the case, then MS is just putting another nail in their =
coffin.

Hello group,
I have a new install of Windows and I have installed all critical =

updates,
therefore my TS's are not working as I would expect.

My question, I do have the fix that MS-MVP George (Bindar Dundat) has
created.
However, it does not restore the troubleshooters??

I know what will restore them... reinstalling them, via rt. clicking =

on the
Tshoot.inf file and having my OS CD ready.

I did the above action on a previous fresh install of Windows-98-se =

after
getting all critial updates.

This is the question;..... If I reinstall my T-shooters via rt. =

clicking
Tshoot.inf file, *am I not removing the kill-bit in the registry that =

is
suppose to be protecting me*??

Thanks for clarification.
