On Mon, 11 Sep 2006 14:47:55 GMT, teebo put finger to
keyboard and composed:

How to get rid of Adobe Flash Player 9 security warnings, whci
periodically
pop ups with prompts to install 'Adobe Flash Player 9' - extremelly nasty
thing.. I dont want install. How to get rid?

I guess that depends on which web browser you are using

In Opera I don't remember there is that warning line, or is it?
hmm.. not in my Opera 8.5. Anyway just turn off the Plugins
in Opera's settings somewhere.

I get a warning box if I rename the Flash plug-in (NPSWF32.dll). I
also get the same box if I replace the plug-in file with an empty file
of the same name. I'm using Opera 9.00, build 8502.

I tested my setup using this site:

You can disable Flash annoyances using the user JS routine that I
alluded to elsewhere in this thread. Any Flash stuff is boxed with the
caption, "Object hidden. Click here to show".
