Default WinME will not access the network.

Hi all;

I have a similer problem but I'm not very computer inclined. I can't get my
computer to acess the internet and I was wondering if all I need to do is
type in winipcfg and that will fix my problem?

My response is below: I have been trying to repost, but it doesn't seem to go thru so I will try one more
time.

John John had this to say:

My reply is at the bottom of your sent message:

Do you mean other than reinstalling ME? ;-)

Try he http://support.microsoft.com/kb/286748/EN-US/

I have tried everything you mentioned above, however the one item I don't know how to do is:
Anyone remember how to manually squash the stack in ME.

Again I have reformatted and reinstalled WinME (4 times now), but this time I installed a 3com 3c905 TX M Nic
which did not help either.

The only error message I have been getting is "Page cannot be found".
I am able to run WINIPCFG
I am also able to run "IPCONFIG /all. The results are below

This was accomplished by typing type IPCONFIG /All IP.TXT and dos did the rest.

So far I have removed TCPIP reinstalled TCPIP, Removed and reinstalled the NIC. (I have
used 3 various NIC's. Netgear, Linksys, & 3 Com. All which have been tested in another machine.
The Cat 5 Cable is currently being used on another system, it works.
The Network is a DSL Network with a Paradyne Modem, Linksys WRT54GS Router, with Wired
connections.

I did go thru the knowledge base, however I am not receiving any error messages, except as I stated before
"Page cannot be displayed."

Does anyone have any additional Ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You in advance
Larry
