is there any way to change windows 98se application data directory on the
C: drive to D: drive?

You cannot change just the application data folder (AFAIK)

but you can have the entire "My Documents" folder moved
if you right click on it

go to "properties"
then select "move"

It can't be that simple to just "move" or "cut" & "paste" an
applications directory to another partition. is there some data file
in win98se that tells windows programs the path of the applications
directory?
