It's been awhile since I read the article and thought booting to Safe mode was
discussed in order to carry out certain steps. From what I read now, all that
is mentioned can be performed in Safe Mode, which I see you have instructed the
OP try.
Toe well, not to hard to add additional info when pointing to your article.
Just a thought, perhaps you should add a boot to Safe Mode for those with
normal startup issues at the least concerning an install/uninstall failure.
